The public library is located on the lower level. Librarian Ron Weir oversees its operation. In addition to books, it also offers the lending of videos, cds, audiotapes and books on tape and public Internet access at no charge. The archives are full of historical artifacts and photographs showing Lac La Biche's rich heritage. Also for viewing is the David Thompson display which salutes the town founder and his accomplishments. These displays are located on the main floor and can be accessed through the administrative office on request.
